Occupational Health at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a nationally recognised accredited service having achieved SEQOHS in October 2012.


We are an impartial, confidential service that helps staff improve and maintain their physical and mental health and wellbeing. Occupational Health is concerned about the effect of your work and your working environment on your health and ensuring your suitability for the work you do.

Occupational HealthOccupational Health Practitioners give professional specialist advice aimed at protecting your health at work and provides an opportunity for you to explore any concerns about your health in relation to your workplace. Staff can access the service either through self-referral or via line manager referral, but in both instances, an appointment must be made in advance. Exceptions will only be made in the case of emergencies.
